About the Practice

Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr. Kevin Kalwerisky moved to Atlanta, GA with his parents and 4 siblings in the early 1990s. His strong academic aptitude saw him graduate Valedictorian of his high school in 1997 and then complete his undergraduate degree in Cellular Biology with Highest Honors along with a minor in French Literature from the University of Georgia on a full academic scholarship. Completing his undergraduate training in 3 years, he split the next year studying International Business in France at the University of Montpellier (Montpellier, France) and at the Sorbonne (Paris, France).

Dr. Kalwerisky attended Cornell Medical College in Manhattan, New York on a full scholarship through the U.S. Air Force (2001-2005) and then entered active duty for the next 14 years of honorable service. During this time, he completed a residency in Ophthalmology and Ocular Surgery (2006-2009) and then a highly competitive 2-year fellowship in Oculoplastic Facial & Reconstructive Surgery through the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). All ASOPRS members are board-certified medical doctors who have trained 4 years as interns and residents in ophthalmology followed by fellowship training in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures of the eyelids, eye sockets, tear ducts and face. Candidates must pass rigorous oral and written examinations and must submit original scientific research for consideration of their candidacy.

Dr. Kalwerisky pursued his interests in oculoplastic and cosmetic facial surgery at David Grant Medical Center located at Travis Air Force Base in northern California. As a military officer, he honed his leadership skills during this time and had the honor to serve a tour of duty in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After returning from this deployment, Dr. Kalwerisky soon reached the rank of Lt. Colonel and during his last 2 years of active duty served as the Flight Commander for Surgical Subspecialties at the Air Force Medical Service’s flagship medical treatment facility in the United States.

Dr. Kevin Kalwerisky is the current acting President of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery and maintains busy practices as the lead clinical physician for the Consultant Clinic in Beverly Hills, Manhattan and Miami Beach. He is a recognized leader in aesthetic treatments involving surgical and non-surgical treatments of the face and neck and can be found training other medical providers around the country as well as in the United Kingdom.
